Solidcore Names Al Fox General Manager of Public Sector Operations

PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 30, 2006 — Solidcore Systems, Inc., the leading provider of automated control software for change management, today announced that Al Fox has been appointed general manager of public sector operations. Fox will assume responsibilities to drive revenue growth and accelerate the adoption of Solidcore's change control software throughout the public sector and government marketplace.

Fox has more than 20 years of experience managing government organizations at some of the World's fastest growing software companies, including Oracle, KnowledgeWare, Informix, Ariba, and webMethods. He has contributed to the success of six initial public offerings (IPOs) and eight mergers, and was also intricately involved with the establishment of the Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Software Initiative during his tenure at McCabe and Associates, which was awarded the first DoD enterprise contract. Fox holds a master's degree in information systems from the University of North Florida, and a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of South Florida.
