Solidcore Expands Change Control Distribution in Europe with Selesta, NessPro and Syscom Partnerships
Companies Enhance New and Existing Change Management Deployments with Solidcore's Automated Policy Enforcement Capabilities
PALO ALTO, Calif., June 25, 2007 — Solidcore® Systems, Inc., a leading provider of change control for critical systems, today announced an expansion of its European business through partnerships with Selesta S.p.A. (Italy), NessPRO (Spain), and Syscom (Denmark, Norway and Sweden). The companies join Solidcore's Solidified-for-Change™ partner program to help IT organizations improve service availability, streamline Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) projects, and reduce the cost of compliance initiatives by maximizing in-process change, documenting and controlling emergency change, and eliminating ad hoc change.
Selesta, NessPRO Spain and Syscom each have access to Solidcore's new Solution Pack for BMC Software resellers, also announced today. The Solution Pack helps partners streamline and accelerate the deployment of Solidcore's S3 Control™ software with the BMC Remedy IT Service Management solution by offering a quick-start toolkit, co-marketing funds, a return-on-investment (ROI) calculator, demonstration materials, and technical certification training. Solidcore also provides each partner with its Change Enforcement Module for BMC Remedy Change Management, which gives IT organizations the capability to selectively enforce change policy based on approved BMC Remedy change tickets, approved change time-windows and programs authorized to make change.
"Providing our customers the most comprehensive solution to better understand and control change across the infrastructure will help them achieve the highest levels of IT availability," said Paolo Sferlazza, managing director of the application division for Selesta. "Solidcore provides comprehensive change control capabilities that automate the process of tracking changes in real-time and enforcing change policies. We look forward to further educating the European market on the power of change control, and providing IT organizations with the technology that will help them reduce IT costs and ensure maximum service availability."
IT service availability is constantly threatened by changes to the infrastructure that do not conform to IT service management processes and policies. These include changes made at unauthorized times or without approved change tickets, as well as approved changes whose execution deviates from the expected change. Selesta, NessPRO Spain and Syscom are focused on helping enterprises throughout Europe close this change control gap between the IT service management process and the ability to understand and enforce actual changes to the infrastructure.
"We are eager to be working with Selesta, NessPRO and Syscom to broaden the distribution of change control and help more companies throughout Europe achieve higher levels of IT service availability," said Shannon Williams, general manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations for Solidcore. "Selesta, NessPRO and Syscom are leaders in delivering IT service management solutions throughout Europe, and by becoming a partner with Solidcore, they will help accelerate the distribution of Solidcore's change control software to enterprise organizations looking improve the availability and operational integrity of critical infrastructure systems."
