Solidcore Now Provides HP-certified Integration with HP ServiceCenter
Solidcore to Become HP Platinum-Level Business Partner
CUPERTINO, Calif., Mar. 12, 2008 — Solidcore® Systems, Inc. today announced that it has received certification from HP on the integration of Solidcore's S3 Control™ software with HP's ServiceCenter. In conjunction with the certification, Solidcore has also become an HP Software Platinum Business Partner. The integration and alliance will provide joint customers with increased information technology (IT) availability, lowered compliance costs and improved IT infrastructure library (ITIL) processes.
Service desks such as HP ServiceCenter are at the core of many IT organizations today, delivering process automation, efficiency and governance. Solidcore's S3 Control integration for HP ServiceCenter bridges the gap between actual change activity and documented change management processes by providing real-time change tracking, accountability and prevention. The solution verifies that approved changes have been deployed and identifies unapproved and un-ticketed changes with very high accuracy. Solidcore S3 Control automatically groups related changes and provides a mechanism to easily document emergency and undocumented changes that were detected on the system, helping achieve cost-effective compliance. Solidcore S3 Control can also be configured to prevent any unapproved changes to the infrastructure and drive all change through the approved HP ServiceCenter process.
"Our team is excited about achieving this new level of relationship and integration with HP," said Rosen Sharma, president and CEO of Solidcore. "Solidcore's unique capabilities that link change actions to process and our capabilities for driving all change through HP ServiceCenter represent the joining of two complementary product strategies. The integration of these products will be instrumental in bringing more customers greater visibility and control of their IT environments."
Solidcore S3 Control is a comprehensive change validation solution that greatly reduces the cost and effort needed to improve IT service availability and regulatory compliance. Solidcore captures critical change detail in real-time, including "who" is making changes, "what" is actually being changed, "when" change is occurring, and "how" the change was made. This enables organizations to ensure deployed systems are always in a known and verified state. With Solidcore's real-time change prevention technology, unauthorized changes can be automatically blocked to ensure continuous service availability. All change events can be summarized in reports to provide comprehensive visibility across the network with minimal effort.
