The move from proprietary operating systems to commercial and open Web-based environments running Microsoft or Linux operating systems has significantly impacted financial institutions as they have because more vulnerable to worms, viruses, trojans, spy software, rootkits etc. There has also been a rise in the number and speed of development of malicious software. Solidcore’s S3 Control - Embedded for ATMs
Solidcore’s S3 Control helps address the above challenges of software change control, compliance and security on the ATMs. It provides control over the state of the deployed ATMs by controlling what’s installed and running on them. It reduces in-field breakage with this control as the ATMs get serviced by multiple players in the channel. It helps enforce the manufacturer and channel software change policy and integrates with their manufacturing, provisioning, monitoring, change management and in-field maintenance processes while keeping total costs of ownership low.
